Law enforcement in Tennessee has just kicked off Combined Message Enforcement for Tennessee (COMET), a program aimed at improving automobile safety on a larger, broader scale than previous programs like Click-it or Ticket. Alcohol and drug impaired driving are the main targets of the program, but distracted driving is also a top priority as technology advances lead to distracted drivers causing more and more traffic accidents.
