Transit buses from Elkhart Coach with model numbers 9215-0200 and 9250-0700 are being recalled due to poor bus roof escape hatches. The hatches fails to meet the Federal government’s safety requirements as they may be too difficult to open in an emergency situation. Elkhart Coach will repair the latches on these buses for their owners beginning July thirty-first, 2012, free of charge.
