May Silverstein
May Silverstein concentrates her practice on advocating for victims who have been injured due to the negligence and misdeeds of others. She is genuinely honored to provide legal assistance and a voice to those who need one.
May is licensed to practice law in Maryland.
May grew up in Centreville, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree in Industrial and Labor Relations, with a concentration in Labor Economics, from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. Upon graduation, May worked for several years as a community organizer, and as a research analyst where she advocated for the needs of working families on economic issues. She then decided to pursue a career in law.
May earned her Juris Doctor at Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law. While in law school, May was the recipient of a merit scholarship. She also held several clerkships while in law school, and, in this capacity, continued to advocate on behalf of individuals. Also, while in law school, May volunteered at several area non-profits dedicated to helping at-risk youth, as well as the homeless and those living below the poverty line.
May has several favorite hobbies, including cooking, reading, biking, and following the New York Mets.
She lives in Silver Spring, Maryland.
