A driver from southern Alberta claims to have acted on instinct when saving four children by intercepting a car with his hummer. A man driving a silver Pontiac was using his cell phone and didn’t slow down while the children were using the crosswalk. Neither driver sustained serious injury. The Pontiac driver has been charged with dangerous driving.

A collision in Fallston resulted in the death of an 18-year-old woman and injuries for two others.
