Driver Admits to Texting While Driving in Fatal Wreck

Micheal Dickson, the man responsible for a disturbing hit and run accident that injured 37 year old Gabriel Sanchez on August 18 in Martin County, Texas on the westbound lanes of I-20, has confessed to texting while driving. Dickson dragged Sanchez 150 feet before stopping and Sanchez was hit by two additional cars before Dickson fled the scene. Police are charging Dickson with failure to stop and render aid.

A motorcycle and Jeep collided on Route 144 Saturday, according to Maryland State Police. Both the driver and passenger of the motorcycle succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the wreck. An investigation is currently underway. The victims in the Jeep were treated at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Preliminary investigations are revealing that the Jeep Cherokee failed to yield the right-of-way to the motorcyclist, which hit the driver’s side of the Jeep after skidding. A motorcycle crash in Virginia ended in tragedy when a man from Rhode Island and his wife crashed into a passenger vehicle. Driver Charged After I-95 Wreck
