On Monday afternoon, a motorcyclist collided in Suffolk. The 38-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries in the wreck, said a representative for Virginia State Police. The wreck happened when a 2011 Kawasaki motorcyclist was driving onto an off ramp from I-664 when they suddenly lost control of the motorcycle. She crashed into a guardrail, and both driver and passenger were ejected. The crash happened around 2pm. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck, while the 22-year-old passenger is undergoing treatment at the Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. According to news reports, both riders wore helmets at the time of the collision.
