While a man and his wife were waiting at an intersection on the way to a pizza restaurant he noticed yellow caution tape, a scattered boot, and motorcycle bits and pieces shattered scattered all over the ground. He overheard a mention of the fleeing perpetrator being a female and distracted by a cellphone. In the paper the next day he read that the motorcyclists did not die but was in critical condition. He thought to himself all because of using a cellphone while behind the wheel.

Saturday, a motorcyclist collided in Monroe County, said the county’s Emergency Operations Center. The wreck resulted in one fatality of a 63-year-old man. The wreck happened along Route 3 near Sweet Springs. Several emergency crews responded to the scene of the wreck including the sheriff’s department, state police, and EMS, according to news reports.
