A two-car wreck Sunday afternoon resulted in injuries for four people in Lynchburg, Virginia. The wreck happened when a Buick Century driver heading northbound veered over the center lane, hitting a Ford Windstar van, according to the Lynchburg Police Department. Seven people involved in the wreck were transported the wreck immediately afterward. The 75-year-old Buick driver is in critical condition, while a 16-year-old passenger is stable. Other passengers are in various conditions and one in critical condition was airlifted to the University of Virginia for medical treatment. Another passenger needed CPR at the crash scene, according to news reports. The wreck involved two cars and happened around 2:15pm, and remains under investigation by police.
