The producer Danone were informed of the glass when a customer notified them of a piece of glass in the &#8220;compote de fruits&#8221; while feeding his 19-month-old grandson. Doctors checked the baby but did not see any signs that anything dangerous had been consumed. The consumer purchased the product from a supermarket in Lunel. The batch of affected products was removed from shelves and the case was referred to its distributors. A complaint with the local gendarmerie was filed.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/connexionfrance.com\/danone-bledina-baby-food-investigation-glass-found-batch-recalled-12892-view-article.html\" target=\"_blank\">news reports<\/a>, the baby food subsidiary, Bledina, are investigating the incident.
