Adrienne Kerwood was awarded the Super Lawyers™ Rising Star award for 2016 -- an award that is given to no more than 2.5% of attorneys!
Adrienne is a member of the personal injury litigation practice group. Her work is focused on representing clients who have been seriously injured by another person's negligence, including those clients who have suffered injuries due to automobile collisions, falls, dog bites, or professional malpractice.
Adrienne grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received a full scholarship to Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
Adrienne moved to the Washington, D.C. area following graduation from Villanova. She received her law degree from The George Washington University Law School, which is consistently ranked amongst the top 25 law schools in the nation by the U.S. News & World Report. During law school, she clerked for a personal injury firm in Washington, D.C.
Adrienne has been working in the area of personal injury law since 2005, and joined Greenberg & Bederman, LLC in 2012. She has a special interest in representing clients who have a suffered traumatic brain injury as a result of an automobile collision or fall, as her father suffered such an injury in 2009. She is a member of The Brain Association of Maryland and The Brain Association of the District of Columbia.
Adrienne is currently licensed to practice in the State of Maryland and is a member of the Maryland Bar Association and the Maryland Association for Justice.
In 2014, she was named both a "Rising Star in the State of Maryland" and a "Rising Star in the DC Metropolitan Area" by Super Lawyers; each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.
